Effects of Evoidiae Fructus Fractionation on the depression

Abstract

|
In order to evaluate the antidepressant effect of Evodiae Fructus according to the fracitonation, each extract and fraction was given orally 1hr prior to yohimbine administration. After that the number of mortality/total number of each group was validated. As the result, EtOAc extract and Fraction 5 seperated on column from EtOAc extract had the most prominant ability to accentuate the yohimbine effect. But Fraction 19 group had the inhibitory effect against yohimhine activity.
